The free and unrestricted acces to research contributions and data is a prerequisite for numerous aspects of digital research and thus a central component of digital infrastructure, such as DARIAH-DE.
For database products the use of Open Data Commons is preferred.
The software components and tools developed within DARIAH-DE are published under free and open source licences.
All codes will be made available via the website and, where appropriate, published on platforms such as GitHub.
The licences used are subject to the conditions of libraries and dependencies involved.
Where possible, Apache 2.0 is preferred.
DARIAH-DE supports the recommendations to encourage best practices in research software.
