Teaching Material for DARIAH-DE Tools
The DARIAH-DE Repository provides the possibility to store research data and enrich them with metadata. Through the use of persistent identifiers a permanent, machine-readable referencing is ensured and findable by generic search. Likewise, the repository makes it possible to store data collections sustainably and securely.
With the help of the DARIAH-DE Publikator, research data can easily be imported into the DARIAH-DE Repository via a graphical user interface and tagged with metadata. These research data can be added as a collection in the Collection Registry and are then identified in the generic search.
Materials for training and documentation:
In the Collection Registry information from research data collections in DARIAH-DE as well as new collection information can be registered.
Materials for training and documentation:
The Data Modeling Environment (DME) is the place where data can be modeled and mappings between data models can be stored, managed for the long term and combined if required. The DME thus offers a conceptual support for researchers in the arts, humanities and social sciences to connect heterogeneous data and create interoperability.
Materials for training and documentation:
The generic search provides a front end for the data stored in the Collection Registry and the DARAH-DE repository. The generic search allows to scan the distributed data records. It is also possible to use the generic search to find the listed metadata, to save this search in a personalized way, and to adjust or refine it at a later date.
